Truly one of the modern masterpieces of Japanese animation ... a skillful blending of mecha and fantasy, of shoujo romance and shonen action and political intrigue ... and the brainchild of one of the co-creators of my all time fave, Macross, no less. I fell in love with this show from the moment I saw it back in 1997, and all these years later it still ranks as one of the most beautiful, awe-inspiring shows I've ever seen. For that matter, it's also the first show I ever bought cels from--indeed, it is the show that got me into cel collecting, because I just simply HAD to own a piece of this wonderful show. Now I own SEVERAL pieces of this wonderful show ... some of them among the best stuff I own period. Which, of course, is only as it should be ... ^_^
