Dragon Ball
Home/Change Series
Yes, it's Dragon Ball (mostly Z). The show has its good points, despite its length, ridiculous popularity with the whiny preteen set, and the godawful marketing that pushes it as one extended fight sequence with no meaning or character development. In fact it is that unacknowledged character development, the growth that we are witness to as the cast expands, allegiances shift, and our heroes age and change over the decades that pass that makes the show a joy to watch. And it is the unique look of Akira Toriyama's character designs and the certain Asian flair to them that makes the show continue to be interesting to the eye over the course of all those 500+ snail-paced episodes. My goal in this collection was to amass a great variety of cels; different perspectives, different colors, different tones, different expressions ... and, of course, a solid cross-section of the series' huge cast.
